I have tried teaching Renata a little knitting and sewing but haven't had much time to be consistent with it. So she has these unfinished projects that look like they will take a very long time to finish. I don't know if she is discouraged by this but I am.
So I was happy to find this project on the Skip to My Lou website. It uses a bunch of crochet chains (which are quick and easy to make) that you make into shapes and glue on cardboard to make a mosaic. Nice a simple, quick and not discouraging.
