Fall Love

My begonias look beautiful all the sudden. We have been having beautiful sunny weather with cool breezes. And look, my raspberries are fruiting again. These were planted this spring and they are all ready fruiting. I definitely want to plant more this spring.

I have squirrels, chipmunks and some wild rabbits in my yard. All of these like my strawberries and therefore the plants I put in this spring have had lovely blooms good runners but they disappear before they are ripe enough to eat. Somehow this does not anger me. Yet I envy your fresh strawberries. It WAS what I hoped for.

I have heard a (weird) way to get rid of critters is to put human hair around where you plant. I have no idea if it actually works but I have heard the human smell keeps them away. Next hair cut save some specimens.

Interesting. I have never heard of that. I shall save my trimmings until spring, can't wait to see if this works. Thanks.
