Better

I'm better. I am over the worst and gradually feeling better. I did a lot of reading through the worst to distract myself. I had a lot of fun reading the Artemis Fowl books. I haven't read the last of the story so I won't say that I completely recommend them but so far they have been great fun. I'm also reading Art A New History by Paul Johnson. He adds such interesting tidbits in the book, but I have trouble wanting to stay chronological while reading the book. The problem is I'm bored with the ancient civilization's art. I know with a giant art history book I should not have this psychological block but I do. Ah well.

I also picked up my advent calendar I've been working ..eh..procrastinating on for 3 years. I need to finish some of my projects! Here's a picture of it and a sketch I did of it to start. The windows and doors are pockets for candy. It is about 3 feet long and a foot and a half wide. Some are just pinned on and not sewn yet and of course there are all sorts of embellishments I want to add. I'm determined to have a functioning calendar by next christmas.

That's great news! I've been praying for you. My pregnancy nausea usually last until 16 weeks or so. How far along are you? Will you find out if you're having a boy or girl? We haven't with either baby....and I'm really ready to know what this second baby is. :-)

I bet you are ready to get that baby out! I have figured out something weird. I am sicker when the weather drops. Each time we have a cold front I get sick again like this weekend but when it's warm I'm fine. The only one of my children I wasn't sick with was Joffre Jr and the 1st trimester was in summer. All the others have been winter time. weird, huh?
We only found out the sex of one of our children, Joffre Jr. but they got it wrong and told us we were having a girl. So we don't bother now and all have been a surprise. More fun anyway. I hope you get a boy next. I like having both sexes.
