Field at Sunset

This is an empty field next to our house that I want to paint constantly. It is very fun to see the different light that is displayed on it. So I've decided to do a few landscapes of it. There is a big oak that frames the scene.

Finished this Crown of Thorns flower painting. I reapplied the background fabric because I didn't like the paint taking over the fabric. This is one of my favorite Florida plants. It is a dense little shrub with very thorny stems and fun little coral pink flowers.
